In February, several content creators met in Frankfurt to create photos and videos during collaborative sessions in front of the camera over a weekend. Collabfinder.org took the opportunity, conducted several interviews, and is excited to introduce French creator Bastian Malone to its followers, fans, and other creators. <\/p>\n

Collabfinder:<\/strong> “Tell us your stage name and the moment you realized it became part of your identity.”<\/p>\n

My stage name is Bastian Malone. The name “Bastian” is a nickname I’ve been using on social media for many years\u2014it’s very similar to my real first name, which I prefer to keep private. That’s why it felt completely natural to choose Bastian as part of my stage identity. <\/p>\n

Initially, I combined it with “Malo,” a name I was also using in a different context. When I mentioned it to friends in the adult industry, several of them said that “Malone” sounded stronger and more distinctive. I immediately liked the idea and decided to adopt it. <\/p>\n

In a way, this name had grown with me over the years. Bastian had long been my online persona, and Malo had also been with me for a while. When I officially became Bastian Malone, it finally felt right\u2014like my true performer identity. And it’s been part of me for more than five years now. <\/p>\n

Bastian Malone lives in Paris<\/h2>\n

Collabfinder:<\/strong> “Where are you based, and how has this environment shaped your journey?”<\/p>\n

I live in Paris and was born here. Growing up and living in a metropolis like Paris was definitely an advantage\u2014especially as a gay man who loves meeting new people. The city offers countless opportunities to connect with people from all kinds of backgrounds, both in real life and through social platforms. <\/p>\n

This environment helped me quickly meet many different people, including performers and content creators. That’s how I eventually met my boyfriend at the time, who was already working as a content creator<\/a> and performer in the gay adult industry. He was the one who first invited me to appear in his content and encouraged me to build my own identity as a creator. <\/p>\n

So living in Paris not only broadened my social horizons\u2014it led me directly to the person who gave me my start and inspired me to pursue my own path as Bastian Malone.<\/p>\n

Collabfinder:<\/strong> “What passion of yours would surprise your followers?”<\/p>\n

One of my passions is music. I love music and play several instruments\u2014it’s always been an important part of my life. However, I don’t think that would really surprise my followers, since it’s a fairly common passion. <\/p>\n

What would probably surprise them more is my actual daily life\u2014especially my regular job. Unlike many content creators, adult work is not my main occupation. I have a separate professional career in which I feel completely fulfilled, and I deliberately keep that part of my life private. That would likely be the biggest surprise for most of my followers. <\/p>\n

Collabfinder:<\/strong> “What do you look for in a partner-in-crime? What makes a collaboration in front of the camera authentic for you?”<\/p>\n

In a collaboration, I look for content creators who enjoy the experience as much as I do. For me, the connection and chemistry come first\u2014filming comes second. The encounter itself has to feel genuine and enriching for both sides. <\/p>\n

If it’s just about shooting a video for the sake of content, without real authenticity behind it, I’m not interested. That’s why I often work with amateurs. On the platforms where I’m active, many men message me simply because they want to meet me. They know I film and are fine with it\u2014but their main motivation is the encounter itself. <\/p>\n

That’s exactly what I value. When the desire for genuine connection is at the forefront and the camera is simply capturing the moment, the result feels much more natural. For me, an authentic collaboration is always based on real chemistry and shared pleasure\u2014not just production. <\/p>\n

Collabfinder:<\/strong> “For everyone searching for their voice in a crowded room: What’s your most important survival tip for new creators?”<\/p>\n

My most important advice for anyone wanting to create gay content is simple: Focus on quality if you want to stand out. The quality of your videos is crucial. And by quality, I mean everything\u2014the concept, the technical execution, the visual aesthetics, the overall coherence. All these elements help you stand out from the crowd. <\/p>\n

Of course, marketing also plays a role. You need to understand how promotion, visibility, and presentation work, because without that, growth is difficult. But even strong marketing can’t compensate for weak content in the long run. <\/p>\n

Many people think they’ll make money overnight just by posting videos\u2014and give up after a month when they realize it doesn’t work that way. You need to differentiate yourself through themes, production value, and even through your choice of collaboration partners. <\/p>\n

If I had to give one central piece of advice, it would be this: Invest seriously in the quality of your work in front of the camera<\/a>. That’s what really makes the difference in the long run. <\/p>\n
